At Union Dance, our competition days are designed to highlight the best in performance, teamwork, and artistry. This page provides a general overview of how our events are structured, helping you plan and prepare for the big day.

BIG EVENT - June 7th 2026

Our dance competitions are structured to showcase a variety of talent and styles:

  • Teams go first, showcasing their group performances - all styles.
  • Solo & Duos follow, giving individual dancers a chance to shine.
  • Styles: Lyrical performances are scheduled before Street performances.

CHEER AND STREET COMPETITION - TBC

Our cheer and street competitions follow this general structure:

  • Team routines are presented first.
  • Solo & Duo routines follow.
  • Set Work: Cheer routines are performed before Street routines.

UNION DANCE FESTIVAL - February 7/8 2026

Timetables for festival-style events are released approximately two weeks prior to the event and depend on the number of entries received. Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for updates.
