Teams at our Big Event and Cheer/Street Competitons
- Beginners & Intermediate: routines up to 2 minutes
- Advanced: routines up to 2 minutes 30 seconds

Competition Level Eligibility for Teaching Staff
Assistant dance teachers who are participating as dancers in team events must compete at the Intermediate level.
All qualified dance teachers who are participating as dancers in team events must compete at the Advanced level.
These rules apply to all team entries to ensure consistent and fair level placement across the union.
Notes for Teams:
- Teachers will receive report cards for their teams, including feedback forms and scores from the judges.
- Dancers must demonstrate respect and professionalism towards other dancers and staff at all times.
- Set routines may have minor adjustments; pupils are welcome to modify arm lines to personalize the performance.
Festival guidelines
Performance Duration:
- Solos: Maximum 2 minutes
Baby - 1 minute 30 - Duets / Trios: Maximum 2 minutesBaby - 1 minute 30
- Troupes / Groups: Maximum 3 minutes
Other Rules:
- Routines must adhere to the appropriate age categories.
- Costumes should be suitable for each dance style.
- Dancers are expected to maintain professionalism backstage, including respect for other performers, staff, and the venue.
- Teachers will receive report cards for all sections.
